Hosted Telephony

Commlinks Hosted VoIP is the ultimate call management solution.

It gives business customers advanced telephony features, such as low cost and free calls to any network, Advanced IVR menu's, Call Handling, Call Forwarding, Voicemail to Email, a reduction in line rental by using existing or new Internet connections, geographic independence and a wide range of business tools for a low monthly fee.

This is a system that grows with your business; new extensions and new offices can be added without disruption.  If you move premises, all you need is a Broadband connection to have your communications up and running.

What are the benefits of a Hosted VoIP?

  • A State of the Art phone system
  • Future Proof
  • Pay As You Grow
  • Reduce Trunk Lines (e.g.  ISDN replacement)
  • Reduce Call Costs
  • Instant Communication and Collaboration
  • Seamless Teleworker Connectivity
  • Respond More Quickly to Customers’ needs
  • Cut Move, Addition and Change Costs
  • Your Number Moves with You

Excellent Call Quality

Call quality will be as good as if not better than calls made over traditional ISDN / PSTN.

Carrier Class Platform

Coms’ carrier class platform is fully redundant and hosted in a leading London data centre, so if the broadband connection to your office is offline, calls will still be answered and routed to your plan, which typically includes forwarding to landline or mobiles phones if the IP phones are not online.

How it Works

VoIP telephony uses the internet (Voice over Internet Protocol) to make and receive phone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a standard phone line.

Using the Coms Hosted VoIP you don't need a traditional PBX installed in your office. Incoming calls are answered and routed by our servers to any phone, wherever it is.  So you can have a switchboard that is routing sales calls to Halifax, and technical support calls to Hanover, and all OnNet calls are free.

Benefits of a Hosted VoIP include: free OnNet calls (VoIP user to VoIP user), Call Hold, Call Transfer, Voice mail to Email, and lots more features than traditional PBX systems.

Managed Handsets

Coms uses Polycom handsets, which we provision and manage remotely, enabling us to make changes to handsets deployed at customers premises without visiting their premises.

The main feature of a Hosted VoIP is that you do not need to purchase, install and support hardware at your premises because the service is delivered to you via IP phones, wherever they are, for a low monthly fee.  Hosted VoIP is "future proof", because as soon as we introduce new features, we roll them out to our customers.
